Commercial class begins with a high energy cardio warm up, followed by a stretch to improve flexibility. Each class includes our ‘catwalk’ - an opportunity for each student to use the studio to sassy walk and show off their best freestyle skills.
The class blends styles including hip hop, street and jazz funk. The students work on routines, dancing in formations, with a focus on pick up time, sharpness, grooves, transitions, and musicality. We emphasise attitude, expressions, and confidence in performance skills. We work towards local performances, yearly theatre shows and also music videos. The class is for anyone who loves fun, expressive, high-energy dancing!
